Willbros is globally recognized for its development of pipeline systems and associated facilities installed in any climate or terrain. With its upstream oil and gas capability, Willbros has constructed more than 200,000 km (114,000 miles) of pipeline and has been employed by more than 400 clients in over 60 countries.
Willbros has diversified into the downstream oil and gas industry, principally refining and petrochemicals. Its acquisitions of Integrated Service Company (InServ) and Wink Engineering expand the Willbros reputation and establishes its presence in the downstream industry segment, where Willbros now provides engineering, construction, plant turnarounds, safety services and maintenance services.
Similarly, the acquisition of InfrastruX established Willbros as an experienced and capable contractor in the electric transmission and distribution market. The acquisition also bolstered the Willbros capabilities in natural gas gathering and transmission while adding a significant presence in the gas distribution market.
