Recent high profile pipeline incidents are driving federal and state regulators to demand better-validated proof of critical operating information from pipeline operators for the entire lifecycle of every pipeline in their systems. The primary issue is traceability and validity of pipeline maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) records.
